The Village of Walnut has issued a snow emergency from January 9th 2024 starting at 7:00 am and continuing till noon on January 10th 2024. This means all vehicles should be removed from village streets during this time. Vehicles parked on the village streets will be ticketed and towed at owners expense.
Sec. 18-80. – Parking during snow removal.
(a)
It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on any public street in the village (i) at any time within 12 hours after a snowfall of three inches or more has occurred, or (ii) after declaration of a snow emergency. For purposes of this section 18-80, vehicles shall be deemed to include trailers, flatbeds, detachable campers, mobile homes and other towed property.
