Due to the dangerous weather forecasted, The Village of Walnut’s Garbage and Recycling will be on Saturday, January 13, 2023. We are sorry for this inconvenience, hope everyone understands this decision is to keep everyone safe and enable the road crews to get the roads cleared so we can once again operate in your community safely.
Garbage Rate Increase
NOTICE TO WALNUT RESIDENTS: Effective for new billing, due on July 15 th, 2024, the garbage rate has been increased 50¢ to support the contract. If you have any questions please call the Village office at 815-379-2351.
