Due to an issue with our iron filter, the drinking water in Walnut may be discolored. This should be resolved in a couple days. The water is completely safe to drink. The Village of Walnut has issued a snow emergency. This is in effect from 12:00AM on Nov 29 till 3:00PM Nov 30th. This means all vehicles must be off the road during this time. Vehicles parked on the streets may be ticketed and or towed per Village ordinance.
