Snow Emergency

The Village of Walnut has declared a snow emergency beginning Saturday January 1, 2022 at 12:00 noon thru January 2, 2022 ending at 1:00 pm.

Section 18-80. a) It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on any public street in the village (i) at any time within 12 hours after a snowfall of three inches or more has occurred, or (ii) after declaration of a snow emergency. For purposes of this section 18-80, vehicles shall be deemed to include trailers, flatbeds, detachable campers, mobile homes and other towed property.

The Village of Walnut has issued a snow emergency. This is in effect from 12:00AM on Nov 29 till 3:00PM Nov 30th. This means all vehicles must be off the road during this time. Vehicles parked on the streets may be ticketed and or towed per Village ordinance.
