Village of Walnut Clerk, Tiffany Miller, has announced petitions are available for the consolidated election to be held on April 4, 2023. The petitions are available for pick up at 114 Jackson St., Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The filing dates are December 12–19, 2022.
Offices up for election on April 4, 2023 are: First Trustee, Second Trustee and Third Trustee (four-year

The Village of Walnut has issued a snow emergency. This is in effect from 12:00AM on Nov 29 till 3:00PM Nov 30th. This means all vehicles must be off the road during this time. Vehicles parked on the streets may be ticketed and or towed per Village ordinance.
